How Much Does a Boudoir Session Cost in Louisville?
A boudoir session in Louisville with me starts with a $599 booking fee, and most clients invest a minimum of $2,499 in their finished artwork. That $599 secures your date and covers your full experience: professional hair and makeup, wardrobe styling from my client closet, a private studio session, professional retouching, and a same-day reveal. Here is exactly where every dollar goes, so you can plan with confidence.
One of the first questions women ask me, usually in a slightly apologetic whisper over the phone, is about cost. I get it. Boudoir is a big, brave step, and you deserve straight answers before you commit to anything. So instead of making you dig for it, I am laying out my boudoir pricing right here, along with what the experience actually looks like from the moment you book to the moment you see your photos.
How much does a boudoir session cost in Louisville?
My boudoir experiences begin with a $599 nonrefundable booking fee and a signed contract, and every experience carries a $2,499 minimum investment in your images and products. The booking fee reserves your session date and covers everything that happens in the studio. The investment afterward goes toward the artwork you fall in love with at your reveal.
You will see photographers price boudoir in all kinds of ways. Some charge a small session fee and leave you to figure out prints on your own. I built my pricing around a guided, all-inclusive experience instead, because the women who come to me are usually doing this for the first time and want someone to handle everything. I would rather be upfront about the real numbers now than surprise you later.
What is included in the $599 booking fee?
The $599 booking fee reserves your date and covers the entire experience side of your session. That is the part where I take care of you from the first phone call to the moment you walk out of the studio on reveal day.
Here is what that includes:
- A phone consultation so we can get to know each other and start planning your dream session
- A pre-session wardrobe consultation with full access to my client closet, stocked in sizes Small through 5XL in just about every color
- Professional hair styling and a full face of makeup with lashes from my on-site artist, Lauryn Quarles of Makeup By Lauryn
- Your 60 to 90 minute photoshoot in my private Jeffersontown studio, with head-to-toe posing guidance the whole way through
- Professional retouching of your images
- A same-day reveal and ordering appointment
You are welcome to bring your own favorite outfits too. Most clients end up mixing a few pieces from the closet with something special from home, and we curate your looks together before you ever step in front of the camera.

What does the $2,499 minimum investment cover?
The $2,499 minimum investment goes toward the finished pieces you choose at your reveal, not the session itself. You can pick one of my four curated collections or build your own combination from the à la carte menu, which includes custom albums, large metal prints, and digital files.
This is the part I care about most, because digital files sitting in a folder on your phone are not why you did this. The women who come through my studio usually tell me the same thing at their reveal: they had no idea they could look like that. Having that feeling printed in an album you can hold, or on the wall where you get ready in the morning, is what makes it last. I handle the design and ordering for you, and I let you know the moment your products are ready for pickup.
What actually happens on the day of your session?
Your session day is a full, pampered experience that runs from morning to early afternoon, and yes, you really do see your photos the same day. Here is how it flows at my studio:
We start at 9:00 AM with your wardrobe and styling consultation, where I help you choose your looks. At 9:30 you settle in for professional hair and makeup. Around 11:00 we begin your photoshoot, which runs 60 to 90 minutes. I guide you through every single pose, adjusting your hands, your chin, your toes, so you never have to wonder if you are doing it right. Some clients need more time and some need less, and the session is tailored to you.
After we finish shooting, around 12:30, you head out for a well-deserved lunch or a little shopping while I soft-edit your images. At 2:00 PM you come back to the studio for your reveal and ordering appointment, roughly 90 to 120 minutes later. We go through your images together, you choose your favorites, and we decide how you want to display them. Most women walk in nervous and walk out floating.

Is a boudoir session worth the investment?
If you ask the women who have been through my studio, the answer is a resounding yes, and I say that with a perfect 5.0-star Google rating behind me. Boudoir is not really about lingerie. It is about seeing yourself the way the people who love you see you, sometimes for the first time in years.
I photograph women of every shape, size, and season of life, from brides-to-be to moms reclaiming a piece of themselves. The confidence shift I get to witness between hair and makeup and the reveal is why I do this work. When you look at it that way, the question stops being about cost and starts being about what it is worth to finally have photos of yourself that you love.
How do I book my boudoir session?
Booking starts with a simple phone consultation, and you can reach me through the contact page to set that up. We will talk through your vision, answer every question you have, and find a date that works. From there, your $599 booking fee and signed contract reserve your spot on my calendar.
If you want the full breakdown of everything included, you can read more about the boudoir experience or head straight to the boudoir pricing page. I work with women from all over Louisville, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Crestwood, and across the river in Southern Indiana, and I would love to help you see yourself the way I will see you through my lens.
